Caitlin grew up in Ontario and Quebec, graduating from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelors of Science with specialization in Human Kinetics. Spending her summers in British Columbia inspired her to pursue the Registered Massage Therapy program at Camosun College.
During her university years, she was a member of the varsity swim team, and after retiring from sport she spent five seasons tree planting in both Ontario and British Columbia. Her experiences in sport and silviculture exposed her to numerous injuries, which sparked her interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation and ultimately led her to a career in massage therapy.
Caitlin uses a collaborative treatment approach that emphasizes patient-centered care, supporting her clients in achieving their goals. She uses a combination of techniques, including Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point release, and both passive and active stretching.

Hi! My name is Ken, and I have lived in the beautiful Bulkley Valley for 15 years. I am a Life Coach, and member of the International Coaching Federation. I am a father to three adult children, and enjoy gardening, dual sport motorcycling, and refereeing team sports.
I recently completed a certificate program at Rhodes Wellness College (Vancouver) and bring over 20 years of experience working in Human Services. I have been a teacher, special needs aide, church pastor, non-profit organization administrator, youth support worker, school bus driver and even a chauffeur! When working with people I am continually fascinated by the potential people have, inspired when they realize their hopes and aspirations, and enjoy celebrating with them as they experience personal fulfillment.
My education began in Interdisciplinary Studies at Redeemer University (B.A., 1993), and then a master’s degree from Calvin Theological Seminary (M.Div, 2002), where I also had intensives in counseling and marriage / family systems. I have received additional training in restorative justice / conversations and have extensive experience in teaching overseas. Some of my greatest joys came when training staffs of orphanages in Ukraine, and living and learning with men transitioning out of homelessness and addiction in Russia.
Perhaps like no other time in human history, we are challenged with never-ending change in a more and more complicated world. The pace of life we usually set for ourselves does not afford time for reflection and retreat, and all too often we neglect ourselves in the process of trying to keep up and sort through what is best for ourselves. The result is often that we find ourselves frazzled, unsure, anxious, and even paralyzed when faced with next steps.
As a Life Coach, it’s my role to partner with you on a journey of self-discovery. You are the best expert on yourself! Through empathy, active and intuitive listening, critical questions, and supportive accountability, we can work together towards the future you desire. Whether transitioning in your career, facing a challenge in your friend or family circle, looking to move forward through a challenge in being a leader or finding your place in a work or social system, I can come alongside and ensure that you move forward through your present situation toward your desired future.
My goal is simply to foster your empowerment, so that you complete the changes you wish to make, meet the challenges you seek to overcome, and attain the goals that you have set. And when those things happen, we congratulate you on your successes and continue the journey towards more challenges, or you decide you are empowered sufficiently to coach yourself!
If you have any questions or would like further information, do not hesitate to reach out. I would be glad to spend 15 minutes with you in a free “discovery call” so we can see if and how we can work together.
All the best! And excited to move forward with you!

Life Coaching is unique from counseling in that it focuses on the present and how to move towards a desired future and does not provide therapy for past traumas. In contrast to consulting or mentoring, in a coaching relationship the client is the expert, and the coach facilitates their discovery process.
